If the group reaches a certain threshold (setup by the proposal leader) it becomes “open for enrollment” for a period before commencing. Materials can be sourced or hosted or sold through the online estore for project leaders who get an approved course as well as a small craft stipend. Lessons are held online or in-person depending on safety guidelines and each course has a suggested donation to keep the service running.

Finished courses or projects can be posted to the archive for viewers who wish to see the results of previously held approved projects.

A technology driven non-profit with the purpose of ‘re-purposing’ electronics for a ‘second life’ after their primary use is over. Outfits all over America have need for new tablets each fiscal year and old devices often never have a purpose other than being recycled.

Repop’d is a website and non-profit dedicated to giving devices a second purpose. Whether it’s an android device repurposed to monitor a grow-house, or a tablet repurposed into a baby monitor. The mobile afterlife works to find a use for that tablet through the magic of creative people with creative ideas. Repop’d works to put gadgets into the hands of people with ideas. From collecting a dozen tablets from companies and turning them into a cool musical event with lights and color and posting it to instagram / youtube to putting a dozen tablets into the hands of under privileged kids doing school remotely in Latin America.

Our Mission is to make technology sweet by giving devices new purposes, so that manufacturers continue to innovate!

Tube Steakpublishing is a multi-blog hosting platform for individuals with conservative views who have otherwise lost their platform to speak on the regular social media and need a safe platform to write on and respond to serious commenters. Due to the nature of the platform and it’s audience, authors and commenters will be held to a ethics policy that will have strict enforcement including partial banning, or expellment for articles that do not meet it’s community guidelines (voted on by all Spartans on a rolling timeline).

Creative Content Micro-MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). Passion Pit is all about micro-courses for creative people who just want to learn an instrument, musical topic, art subject, or do a craft activity for just a short amount of time for a low cost. Receive a guitar for your birthday? Passion Pit has lessons that are hosted on the Passion Pit ELearning Online platform (EEOP, Canvas) and typically run in short batches of 1 – 4 week series (as opposed to a MOOC which has 8 weeks – 16 weeks) with videos and homework issued by professional instructors. Students are encouraged to watch the lessons, practice the homework assigned, and submit online exams that show their mastery of the subject and their progress.

Tests are designed differently then practice (which is logged by hour unit), where in a test it will sometimes play a piece of a song and ask you which notes were played, or in which order, or which string was note 3? Students will not only be exposed to an instrument or artform, but understand the basics in theory to know whether or not to try a more advanced MOOC (not hosted by Passion Pit) or buy a book from the Passion Pit EStore.

Example, a You Dig? subscriber has signed up for 1 bag of regular bagels at a set subscribers “market” price for the service (product purchase price at sale + 20% + storage cost /day + delivery) to be delivered every other week (if the product is in stock and available for the subscription threshold price*).

If a price permanently changes (sale price goes up), the subscriber is notified and the account is suspended until an action. Or as the product becomes available at or below that price, You Dig? buys up the stock at bakeries and freezes it and services each order based on its stock. Low inventories are sent by notification to the subscriber ahead of time (based on current stock and orders by end of day).

Razz My Berries is about one and only thing, a website devoted to eye candy. Similar to pinterest that is curated by crowdsourcing, Razz is a more sophisticated site devoted to posting diagrams, charts, flow charts, and works in their raw form with minimal explanation for the eye candy enthusiast to enjoy.

Lil’ Drip  is a stay-cation virtual travel service in a unique online form. Why not put it all together? Taking on a unique and uncharacteristic take on a travel service review site. Locations on Lil’ Drip are taken in 3D format that can be viewed with a VR Viewer or Google Cardboard type of device by crowdsourced video taken by mobile devices or professionally available (but hosted on multiple platforms).

Lil’ Drip hopes to put it in one spot for the over curious adventurer who just “wants to know it all, but doesn’t actually buy the ticket.” All Locations vetted will have information about the vacation location not seen on any other web reviews websites. Such as recipes for the top drinks and top dishes, top rankings for local movies seen by locals, links to other “virtual vacation” trips from an itinerary, top twitter posters from that location, and links to every imaginable virtual service (Google maps, mapquest, wikipedia, youtube, GIS, etc.).

The gift shops that are online or accessible somewhere online will also be available for vetted locations that are listed so the virtual traveler can take a souvenir (in 2 – 3 days) after a visit.
